The Opportunity Exchange Initiative (OEI) extends GCP’s pipeline approach beyond students by supporting entrepreneurs and small business owners through structured guidance, strategic connections, and access to real-world opportunity pathways. Participants receive support in business development, capital readiness, partnership cultivation, and contracting preparation, helping them build the foundation needed to grow and compete. The model is informed by prior implementation experience, including within Nebraska’s small business ecosystem, where programming has connected entrepreneurs to technical assistance, capital readiness support, procurement guidance, and strategic partnerships. OEI reflects GCP’s broader vision of connecting education, leadership, and economic mobility through intentional systems of opportunity.
