ACADEMIC ENRICHMENT | BACK TO PREVIOUS PAGE

The GCP program bridges the academic gap between high school and college by providing students with extensive academic enrichment and unique educational opportunities during each stage of their high school careers. It does not stop at simply preparing students to do well on standardized tests; it ensures that students actually know what they need to know so that when they enter college, they will be ready to fully apply themselves in advanced studies.

All GCP participants receive intensive math and literacy tutoring in after-school sessions twice per week. Students also are required to attend sessions that focus on English, math, science, geography, and ACT preparation three Saturdays each month and educational field trips one Saturday each month. Altogether, the GCP program provides each student with 12 hours per week of supplemental instruction in key subjects that are essential to academic success.
